The Worcestershire County Council Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme on behalf of the Local Government Employers and certain Admitted Bodies in the administrative areas of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme is carried out by a dedicated staff of 15 in the Finance Directorate located at County Hall, Worcester. Please click here for a location map.
In addition the investment administration of the Fund and also the maintenance of the Funds financial accounts is carried out within the Finance Directorate.

The membership currently comprises 17,500 current members, 9,500 pensioners and 7,000 former contributions with an entitlement to a deferred pension. There are currently 51 employing bodies in the scheme.
