Data Protection
The Data Protection Act 1998 refers to personal
information, and this can only be requested by the person the
information relates to.
You have the right to request ‘personal information’ held about you
by the Council on computers or in paper records subject to certain
exceptions.
Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 refers to public information
that we hold in any format, and allows any person to request
it.
